Tractor & Vehicle Registration & Rules

IMPORTANT: NO 4-WHEELERS AND/OR DIRT BIKES ALLOWED ON SHOW GROUNDS AT ANY TIME

Registration Requirements

  • All handicap motorized vehicles must be registered.
  • For children under 16: Signed agreement required from parent or legal guardian.
  • All equipment must receive a tag/sticker showing it has been registered.
  • Tags/stickers for both equipment and handicap vehicles must be visible at all times.

Safety & General Rules

  • Steam Engines: Operator has blind spots – engines are very hot and steam can BURN! Please stay aware and keep a safe distance.
  • NO PETS allowed in show area or kitchen (except certified service dogs).
  • No riding after dark unless vehicle has lights or it’s a sanctioned event.
  • No riding on blacktop in food service area or through flea market area unless you have a handicap sticker.
  • Gates close at 11:00 PM – cones will be placed at other entrances. Limited access only after closure.
  • Do not cross through marked rope areas.
  • All moving equipment must be registered with the club, and the operator/owner must be a current MSHS member.
  • NO ALCOHOL allowed in show area at any time. No underage drinking on grounds (Maryland law applies).
  • No hanging or riding on equipment unsafely.
  • The Maryland Steam Historical Society and Upperco Fire Co. are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged items, or accidents.
